Treating depression is a challenge for millions of people. This is the time of year that people are noticing, and expecting, changes. The weather is warming up, the days are getting longer, and the New Year is starting to take shape. For many, however, today is no different that last month, or last year, or any other time. Things don’t seem to have changed much, even though they were expected to.

This is very difficult and can get worse as others appear to be doing better and they are not. Longer days may mean more time in bed, or more time for worrying, or not caring about what happens. Some are getting busier while others struggle to just get up sometime during the day. Some people are getting excited about things to come while others agonize about the demands others are placing on them.
